Crochet is fun, relaxing and easy to learn. This class covers the basics of crochet including how to hold the hook and yarn, making a slip knot, learning chain, treble and slip stitch as well as beginning to read patterns. Please collect a requirements list from reception.

Materials: 2 different coloured balls of yarn in 8 ply (sportsweight or DK) - choose a smooth, plain ball, one in a light colour and the the second in a different colour but not in black, navy or dark green. Also bring a 4mm aluminium crochet hook with a flattened grip, a tapestry (or wool) needle and scissors.
